Terms & Conditions

Payment terms: A deposit of 50% is required prior to the start of the installation. The remaining 50% is due within 7 days of the completion of the work. Some services such as maintenance, monitoring and repairs may have different payment terms.

Warranty: All parts and labour are covered by a one-year warranty unless stated differently on the quotation. Any issues not covered by the warranty will incur a call-out fee of £135 + VAT, which must be prepaid.

Remote viewing: Our quotations does not include an internet connection or computer. It does include connecting the security system to a working router with a static IP. Any IT or network issues that arise during the installation are not covered in our quotations.

IDS Global UK is not responsible for slow image transmission due to slow internet speed. Installation: The quotation for our services is based on the assumption that the installation can be completed in a single, continuous operation with access to all necessary areas. If access is not granted as expected and an additional visit is required, a fee of £135 + VAT will be added to the final invoice.

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold IDS Global UK and its employees, contractors, and agents harmless from any and all claims, damages, expenses, and liabilities arising out of or in connection with the installation, use, or maintenance of the security system. This indemnification includes, but is not limited to, any claims for personal injury or property damage caused by the security system or the installation process. Confidentiality: IDS Global UK is committed to protecting the confidentiality of our customers' personal and financial information. We will not disclose any such information to third parties without the customer's express consent, except as required by law.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. The provisions of the Fire Safety Act 2005 shall apply to all the fire safety related installations and services provided by IDS Global UK.

Ownership of Equipment: The equipment installed during the service belongs to IDS Global (UK) Ltd until full payment for the installation has been received. The customer is responsible for maintaining the equipment in good condition and will be liable for any damages or losses sustained while the equipment remains the property of IDS Global (UK) Ltd. Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the equipment will be transferred to the customer.
